Eric Schneekluth, a sophomore from San Diego, was taken into custody on campus without incident Dec. 13, booked by university police and remanded to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility. He is being held on $100,000 bail.
The incident occurred in Sunset Hall just after 5 p.m. The victim reported that three men broke into his room, bound his arms and legs and stole a number of items.
“We want the whole broken system fixed, for every American that has an interest in their future” said marcher Carlos Huerth. “There’s no one issue.”
For months, all manner of signs and banners from throughout Arcata – particularly Northtown – as well as the Humboldt State campus, have been disappearing from their installed locations and, as it turns out, migrating toward a house on lower California Avenue.
