Serious rain tonight; hail & thunderstorms Friday

HUMBOLDT – Warm, partly sunny and maybe rainy is the forecast for the day, while tonight promises a 100 percent chance of some serious precipitation.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a high temperature today of 70 degrees, with a 20 percent chance of rain after 11 a.m.

Tonight the chance of rain increases to 100 percent, with a quarter to a half inch possible. The low temperature will fall to about 54 degrees.

The weather will become more interesting on Friday, with showers, small hail and thunderstorms possible throughout the day.

Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, when you’ll set your clock back one hour.
