California Redwood Coast-Humboldt County Airport, 3561 Boeing Ave. – Ongoing show; no reception during Arts Night. View artwork by Humboldt County artists at the long-term exhibit coordinated by the Redwood Art Association. This is the last month of the show featuring works by Robert Benson, Floyd Bettiga, Thomas Klapproth, Jim McVicker, William Pierson, Laura Rose, Stock Schlueter and Stilson Snow.
Silver Lining, 3561 Boeing Ave., #D (at the California Redwood Coast–Humboldt County Airport) – Mack Arts Night afterparty with musical guest JD Jeffries Trio playing live music from 6 to 9 p.m. In addition, Humboldt Made Members, including Diane’s Sweet Heat, Los Bagels, Humboldt Hotsauce, Good and Evil Twins and more, offer tastings and their products for sale for last minute stocking stuffers. Good and Evil Twins holds a $5 T-shirt sale.
McKinleyville High School Library, 1300 Murray Rd. – Ongoing show; no reception during Arts Night. Mack High students present the Game of Life Photo and The Art of Illustration shows.
Stork’s Nest, McKinleyville Shopping Center – Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Bring a camera for a photo of your child. Also featuring coloring by local children who entered the Holiday Coloring Contest hosted by the McKinleyville Shopping Center and the Stork’s Nest. (707) 840-0300.
McKinleyville Family Resource Center, 1450 Hiller Rd. – Bring your family out to a night of art and fun with special activities from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. “Winter Wonderland” is the theme for December. A fun night for children of all ages.
