Kayaking the Mad River Estuary

This afternoon, Aug. 22, Jack and Kim Durham, along with friends, toured the Mad River Estuary, launching their kayaks at the Mad River boat ramp. Below are some images from the watery tour.

A river otter was spotted coming out of the water and scurrying into the brush in the Knox Cove area of the Mad River Estuary. We couldn't get a photo of the otter, just its tracks. JD | Union
