In Remembrance – Scott Mather

In Loving Memory of Scott Mather
October 13,1970 – June 6, 2012

One year ago our beloved Scott left us to go to heaven, but his spirit lives on in each of us. Through many tears of sadness we have our joyful memories to give us comfort. Scott never missed an opportunity to lighten the moment with humor. His gentle smiling eyes touch all of our hearts. He was such an unselfish person in life. Scott’s strength and his hard fought determination, continues to Mather.colorinspire us all.
The Mather and Wakeman families would like to express with sincere gratitude our thanks in the following way: We are blessed to have such a wonderful caring family, great friends and neighbors to help us through a difficult time.
Our families appreciate all the lovely cards, flowers, emails, facebook and text messages, Times-Standard guest book postings, supportive hugs, monetary gifts and many prayers.
Bless all those who attended The Chapel of the Roses in Fremont for the Rosary, the Funeral Mass and Reception at St. James The Apostle Catholic Church in Fremont, and the graveside service at The Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery In Hayward. Also, family and friends who helped with the Potluck Picnic Remembrance at Sequoia Park, Eureka in July 2012.
We “thank” the supportive efforts of all the doctors, nurses, PT’s, Home Health, hospital staff and transport crews for their loving care of Scott for 10 years. It has all meant so very much. God bless everyone. Please support Relay for Life on July 13, 20013.
We love you Scott forever. Dad, Mom, Jason, Tanya, Grandma Betty, your wife Joanna, Sons Collin and Lee and all of Scott’s extended family and friends.
