This one-night-only event at the Feuerwerker Building, 854 Ninth St., between H and I Streets in Arcata, presents a unique opportunity to start or add to an art collection for home or office while benefiting programs to aid the homeless and hungry in our community. Arcata House Partnership – a local non-profit organization – offers food and shelter to those in need, and provides services to assure a successful transition for individuals and families moving off the streets into permanent housing.

Written bidding begins at 6 p.m. Bids will be accepted until 8:45 p.m., when winners should arrive to check their bids and take home their selections. Payment is by cash, credit card or personal check.

The sale is made possible through the combined business, design and community skills of Julie Fulkerson and Alex Stillman. All artwork has been generously donated by local artists and art collectors. Additional support is provided by the Stebbins Family.

Doors open for viewing and bidding at 6 p.m. There is no entrance fee. Live music by Oryan Peterson-Jones performing as Die Geister Beschworen. Wine and non-alcoholic beverage will be served.
