The City of Arcata’s Environmental Services Department, US Fish and Wildlife, and the Humboldt Fish Action Council invite you to help Humboldt State University’s Natural Resources Club clean up Janes Creek on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. at the parking lot adjacent to Creative Mathematics on West End Road. Look for the HFAC volunteer workday signs.
Everyone’s welcome to help remove Reed Canary Grass and improve the streamside ecosystem along Janes Creek.
Participants will be provided with tools, beverages and snacks. Please be sure to wear work clothes and closed-toe shoes or boots.
