McKinleyville resident Jenna Jones has been called to serve in the Edmonton Mission for the Church of Latter-day Saints. Jenna is the daughter of Mickey and Sheryl Jones, also of McKinleyville.
After graduating from McKinleyville High, Jenna attended three years at LDS Business College in Utah. When she returns from her mission she will attend the University of Utah to major in occupational therapy with a minor in music therapy.
Jenna says,”I have been wanting to serve a mission since I can remember. Many people ask me why I am delaying my education, but I am going because I believe I am giving people the chance to be happy if they are lost in the negativity and confusion of this world.”Jenna will be traveling to the Mission Training Center later this month.
